PhiClaw is built in Miami by a small team that talks to doctors every week. Our Chief Medical Officer was a customer before he was an investor, and an investor before he was an officer. That order is on purpose.
Built by a founder, a doctor who used it first, and a team that ships every day.
Meet the people behind the HIPAA-compliant AI employee for medical practices.
John Gonzalez
Founded Glowhaus in 2022 and grew it from $0 to about $15M in signed solar contracts in two years with no venture capital and no paid ads, then exited. Shipped two App Store apps for doctors (Voti and Ratatui) before building the first version of PhiClaw solo in about two weeks and landing the first paying doctor three days after launch. Dr. Alexander Rios
A physician and one of PhiClaw's earliest customers. He ran the AI employee inside his own practice first, then became the company's first angel investor, and now leads clinical direction: which workflows the AI runs on its own, which need a clinician's sign-off, and which specialties come next. Alejandro
Leads engineering: the agent runtime, the HIPAA infrastructure it runs on, EHR integrations, and Marrow, our headless EHR.
Jaider
Leads product: what the AI employee does next, how doctors and staff hand work to it, and how every workflow is reviewed before it touches a patient.
Plus the engineers who sit with practices
Every practice on the dedicated plan gets its own forward-deployed engineer: 20 hours a week of custom work and a weekly call. They are the rest of the team, and we are hiring more of them, along with closers who know EHRs as well as they do.
Why we exist
We did not set out to build an EHR. The big EHR vendors blocked our agent, refused APIs and stayed closed until we had no choice. The whole story is in our manifesto, and the technical detail is in the white paper.
